The Tadoba Tiger Reserve is placed at the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra state in India. The oldest and biggest countrywide park in Maharashtra is the Tadoba Tiger Reserve. In the south-west region, there is a lake called Tadoba Lake which acts as a bridge between dense forest and extensive fields.

Flora

There is some famous flora in the park includes Dhauda, Hald, Salai, Semal, Karaya gum, Mahua Madhuca, Arjun, Bamboo, Beria, Black Plum, and many others. List of the animals that live inside the jungle are tigers, Indian leopards, peacocks, barking deer, chital, marsh crocodiles, wolf spiders, dull bear gaur, jewel beetles, Indian spider, etc.

Fauna

There are 80 species of butterfly which includes pansies, Mormons and Swordtails. The often seen spiders during the monsoon are Signature spiders and redwood spiders. The commonly seen hunting spiders are wolf spiders and crab spiders. In May 2018 a black panther was spotted in the forests. The black panther was rarely spotted in dry deciduous forests like Tadoba but they normally live in evergreen forests. The lake consists of a wide variety of raptors which includes the crested serpent eagle and changeable hawk-eagle.
